Our children’s camps offer a creative and engaging introduction to pottery in a calm, studio environment.

Children are guided through drawing, designing, and adding colour to their ideas, before bringing them into 3D through clay. Each session encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence in making.

Activities are thoughtfully tailored to the group, creating a supportive space where children can connect, collaborate, and build friendships while exploring art together.

Students are introduced to the fundamentals of working with clay, while having the freedom to create pieces that reflect their own ideas and imagination.

What types of classes do you offer for children?

Students are invited to participate in hand-building, wheel-throwing, ceramic painting, birthday sessions, family sessions, specialised workshops, and more.

What is the minimum age for children to join?

Children are welcome from the age of 5 years and above.

How long are children’s sessions?

Standard classes last 1 hour, and winter, summer, and spring camps are 1.5 hours.

Can parents stay during children’s classes?

Parents who have booked a session are welcome to stay. If a parent is not booked and they may be allowed to stay (space permitting), they are requested not to interfere with the teaching or contribute to the session.

Can students take their pieces home the same day?

Students are welcome to take their pieces home but the pieces will not be usable and will break easily, it is therefore recommended to fire them first to ensure strength and long-lasting results.

Do students receive certificates?

We are pleased to provide an attendance letter, as official certificates are not issued.

Do you offer birthday pottery parties?

Birthday parties can be hosted for 8–15 children (ages 5–14). Off-site events are also available.

Do you offer seasonal workshops and camps?

Seasonal workshops and camps are offered for children during winter, summer, and school holidays. Detailed information regarding duration, age groups, and pricing is kindly shared for each season.

What ages do you welcome?

Our camps are designed for school-age children, generally from 5 years upward. Younger participants receive closer guidance and work on simpler forms, while older children are encouraged toward greater independence and complexity.

What will my child create?

Children work with hand-building techniques to make functional or decorative pottery. They'll learn how clay behaves, how to shape and refine their pieces, and what happens during drying and firing. Each child takes home finished pottery they've created themselves.

What makes your camps different?

Founded in 1994, we are the UAE's first-ever modern pottery studio. Our camps are run by Master Potter Homa Farley, an award-winning ceramic artist, in an authentic studio setting. Children gain genuine skills and understanding, not just a holiday activity to fill time.
